Surfboard tail pads also known as deck grips give you extra traction for pulling tricks with confidence. A tail pad is always applied to the deck of the surfboard to ensure your feet are planted in the right place and aren't going to slide off. Tail pads are essential for aerial surfing and the angled kick in the tail can provide extra leverage for more power and control in the back foot.
