Pyzel Surfboards
Read MoreBorn in Santa Barbara, California Jon Pyzel fell in love with surfing at an early age. Jon eventually settled on Oahu's North Shore in 1992 where he found work fixing dings. Not long after he connected with master shaper Jeff Bushman, Jeff gave Jon a job as his back-shaper and that was the beginning of his shaping career.
The turning point came when Jon was asked to shape a board for John John Florence (who was 5 at the time). From then on Jon and John John have worked together to redefine grom surfing. Now almost 20 years later John is a world champion and Pyzel is one of the most popular surfboard brands on the planet.
