The Golden Child is one of Parko's favourite boards of all time. Joel's first ever heat on the Golden Child was at the final of the Quiksilver Pro Kirra, and after winning that contest he went on to become champion at both Bells Beach and J-Bay.

During 2009 and whenever the surfing conditions suited it, the Golden Child was his board of choice and he never lost a heat. The board ended up hanging on the wall at the JS Kirra factory as a trophy representing the pinnacle of fast, intuitive and powerful surfing. The updated Golden Child is based on the original 2009 model but with an up to date refinement on the deck roll and rails based on cutting edge surfboard design.

The Golden Child is a high-performance surfboard designed to push the limits in good and powerful surf.

The Golden Child has a flatter vee deck compared to the dome deck of other more modern good wave JS boards like the Schooner or Forget men not 3. This brings you closer to the water for sensitivity, providing instant response. It also has less concave than the Monsta for extra hold, which is complemented by a narrower nose & tail outline for control in critical sections. This all comes together to offer a board designed for rail surfing, to cut through the water like a hot knife through butter.

Easy Rider dimensions have been created with the goal of making JS' most popular models even more approachable. JS designed the Easy Rider specs for easier paddling coupled with high performance surfing. Foam is hidden in all the right places for extra floatation, but with lowered rails that can still be buried at high speed.
