An ode to the feelings evoked by beautiful skies shifting from light to dark through sunset, the Velvet Hour is Soleil Errico’s go to involvement log for user friendly fun in all kinds of surf.
A revival of the classic Australian style involvement logs made popular in the late 60s. With the wide point shifted back from centre, a wider tail area pushes the effective volume to the rear of the board, creating lift that is helpful for nose riding in the pocket. It also has a narrower nose profile for control in steep tight sections and concaves that facilitate cross stepping and performance nose riding. All these elements come together into a timeless log that rides seamlessly in the pocket while being super manoeuvrable from middle section.
Traditional longboard features with the modern-magic of the Thunderbolt flex pattern make this one of the most user-friendly performance-logs on the market today.
