Here at Down the Line, The Original Sixtyniner is up there with our all-time best selling shortboards. Now with the Summer 2018 season approaching, we're getting excited about the Sixtyniner Step Down. Not much has dramatically changed, because the board is so good as it was.. It is quite simply a shorter, fuller version of the original, with a wider tail to enhance the small wave performance.
INN.CA technology is a stringerless high density EPS blank, high quality fibreglass with a premium biaxial cloth on the deck, together with a carbon fibre/Innegra parabolic frame. The Innegra material wraps just inside the rail line. Carbon strips then surround the Innegra, with a carbon strip running down the centre on the bottom. This creates a lightweight, high strength board with a perfect flex/memory balance. The innegra material is hydrophobic and impact resistant. Finished with Epoxy resin glassing.
