The Ghost is a true high-performance board that suits surfers of all skill levels, making it an ideal all-in-one option for any surf trip with solid waves. It has become a favourite of JJF, performing exceptionally in a variety of conditions from Margaret River victories to stylish Bells Ollie Oops, J-Bay carves, and even head-high Trestles.
Originally crafted for powerful, hollow waves, the Ghost has proven its versatility across reef breaks, punchy beach breaks, and even point waves.
The Ghost features a refined outline with the wide point slightly forward of centre. The nose is kept sleek, and the tail is slightly pulled in for a tighter, more responsive outline.
The thickness is also shifted forward, helping with early wave entry, while the thinned-out tail and rails enhance fine control in barrels and at high speeds.
Its rocker profile is medium-to-low in the front for easy paddling and speed generation, while the tail rocker has ample curve for precision turns and quick response. A single concave runs throughout the bottom, with a subtle double concave inside, providing both speed and lift—whether driving down the line or transitioning rail-to-rail.
This blend of rocker and concave delivers high-performance handling with the perfect balance of sensitivity and control.
