Warriors of Winter 23-24 Winner Announced!

Warriors of Winter wrapped up again for another year back at the end of March. As the dust settled, we got the images over to our Head Judge for 23/24 - Mr Harry Bryant! The man of the moment took the only Perfect 10 of the Vans Pipemasters this year, and released his Motel Hell movie to widespread acclaim across surf media. 

Amongst a busy schedule of charging some of the heaviest waves on the planet, Haz sat down to go through our entries, and sent over this video for us...

So, congratulations to Julian Farmer and Gary McCall! Mega shot, of a mega paddle wave.

Julian's hard-charging across the water in Ireland has won  him a custom board of his choice, and a full Rip Curl Fusion wetsuit setup. Gary's dedication to the shot has earned him a full Rip Curl Fusion wetsuit kit, a Yeti Cooler, and a year’s supply of sprits from Cape Cornwall Rum and Elemental Distilling. We’re looking forward to having a chat with the lads about the story behind the shot, and sorting them out with their prizes.

Huge thanks to Harry Bryant for being our judge this year, and finding time to pick a winner in between charging hectic Cloudbreak. His videos brought a lot of laughter to us in the shop, and we’re sure to many of you too. Cheers for the considered judging and comments Haz, we can’t wait to see what’s next for you.

The biggest thank you of all to every single surfer and photographer who’s entered an image or two. It’s you lot preserving through the bleak midwinter that makes this competition what it is, and we simply couldn’t run it without you.
