Christenson-backed, Australian-born, and Indo shredder Oscar Langburne launched his new film last week.
"How are things on the West Coast? Part 1" documents Oscar's journey down through California and beyond into Central America. After collecting his quiver of twin's and OP shortboards from Chris, that is. The OP3 is a particular stand-out to us!
We asked Oscar about the film, it's influences, and how it came about.
"It's basically an edit in a variety of waves and conditions throughout Central America and a little Fiji trip (stay tuned for Part 2 coming soon...) last year riding a bunch of different boards to music I dig. I've just tried to create something raw from either single sessions or over one or two days that might capture how, for me, surfing is an individual expression and doesn't need to fit any box or label.
My last clip was lefts so I started this one with an all 'rights' section from a point in El Salvador .. I'm inspired by timeless guys like Occy, Margo, Machado, Curren, Ando, Bobby Martinez, Creed, and Torren"
Check out the full clip below, and watch out for Part 2!
