Who Are Vouch/Surf?

Based at Byron Bay’s fabled North Coast Surfboards factory, Vouch/Surf have quietly earned a reputation as being right up there with the best producers of progressive mid-lengths in the world.

Foiled by the legendary Paul Hutchinson (of Bear fame), their boards are generally aimed at intermediate to experienced surfers who love the glidey sensation that a bigger board provides, yet also want to surf in the pocket and on rail.

And in terms of workmanship Vouch surfboards are second to none, their flawless construction and exquisite resin tints truly something to behold.

Evan IS Vouch Australia. He takes care of everything that is Vouch, from board design to brand direction and marketing (non-existent) to working with the finishing team to ensure every board comes out as good as it should be; fucking amazing!

Masayuki Mizuno
Masa IS Vouch Japan. He holds it down in Tokyo and helps design and co-ordinate all the custom wetsuits and also the Vouch clothing line. He resides in Tokyo with his wife and 2 children and surfs regularly.

Paul Hutchinson
Paul Who? Some people may not know who Paul is, but if you’re any sort of surfer who has any idea of Australian surf history or have ever watched Morning Of The Earth, then you should. Paul first started shaping at the tender age of 15 under his own “Hutchinson Surfboards” label, and has been shaping ever since. An genuine master craftsman with the Midas touch.
