The JS Show Pony will be amongst the huge range of JS surfboards we are getting in March 2014. If you ever jumped in the saddle of the JS Pier Pony, you will know how much fun they are to ride.
The Show Pony is a progression of the Pier Pony. Having the volume re-distributed, leaving it thinner in the tail and bringing more to the chest area for even greater improved paddle speed.
A diamond tail has also been added for that little extra added drive and kick in the tail. In general, the Show Pony is a thoroughbred Pier Pony, built for speed and performance, with a few litres taken off compared to the Pier Pony.
The best showground for the Show Pony is beachbreaks between the 0-4ft range. You’ll find it fast and maneuverable – a board that will allow you to make the most of the slack summer swells.
The Show Pony features a single concave from the nose and splits into a double concave in front of the fins. This will give you lift and speed in a straight line, yet add projection and drive into your turns by channeling water through the fins.
Real flat entry and exit rocker to help create drive and speed in even the weakest of wave conditions.
